Check out two more layouts using embellishments made with stamps.

Ice Cream Sundaes

Here is another layout created with patter paper from The Stamps of Life card kit club. I have so many ice cream themed layouts. I'm always looking for new ice cream themed papers and embellishments and when I saw this stamp set, I immediately pictured it on a layout!

I stamped and colored this image from bananasplit2stamp from The Stamps of Life. To give the look of hot fudge, I added a glossy accent after I colored. The gloss also helped to add some dimension. To add additional texture, I stitched a border around the background.

Butterfly Garden

Until I had stepdaughters I did not get to do many feminine pages. When I took the boys to a Buttery Garden at the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY, and knew this was my chance to do something a little more girly.

I used butterfly2build and coordinating dies from The Stamps of Life. I used white ink to stamp on their grape cardstock and absolutely LOVED the softer look. Originally I had planned to use glitter or Stickles on the finished butterflies, but given how busy some of the papers were, I figured less was more.

Come back to see layouts with paper piecing.
