As a mom, I have certain pictures of my kids that I just love. For whatever reason, they capture candid smiles, expressions, or they remind us of a precious memory we would otherwise forget. When I have photos like this, I want to make sure they end up in the scrapbook.
These photos of my younger son, Zachary, capture his little personality! We were at my parents, and he was enjoying a snack while watching a movie. He always loved sitting at this little red desk - which is a prized possession of my mom's. My grandfather made this desk when he was in high school shop class. That fact only made these pictures more precious!
Zach was so happy and adorable in his little pajamas, and just as I snapped a picture just as he said, “Cheese,” with a full mouth!
Scrapbooking Tips:

This page came together in five minutes and using scraps from my stash! I had pieces from a Basic Grey paper collection that I had been saving – and one of the scraps was of this cool multi-colored pattern paper. I figured out I wanted an approximately 8" x 4" piece to border my photos. Rather than use my paper trimmer to cut straight lines, I fussy cut out the pattern paper by cutting along the curvy lines that were already in the pattern. I thought that would give the layout some visual interest.
I created my title “So You” using Thickers, and then I added three stickers from the same collection and arranged them on the page creating a visual triangle. I absolutely LOVE the results. All around, this layout took less than ten minutes, and I used what was already in my stash.
